Senior hockey player, Mike Collins signed a PTO (Professional Try Out) contract with the Providence Bruins early this week. The Providence Bruins are the AHL (American Hockey League) affiliate with the Boston Bruins.
Collins ended his last season as a Merrimack College Warrior last weekend in a first round playoff game against UMaine. He finished his career with 118 points in 134 career games. Collins is now the 10th Merrimack hockey player to sign an NHL contract under coach Mark Dennehy.
