She is a member of Alpha Phi Sigma National Honor Society, a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, as well as the Society of Collegiate Journalists. Her list of on-campus duties includes being editor for the Around Campus section of The Cluster in conjunction with being a part of the student admissions team.

A sister of Chi Omega Fraternity, Rebecca enjoys working with her sorority in various philanthropic efforts such as the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

When asked what her most inspiring moment has been, Rebecca replied, “I guess it would have been when I made President’s list here at Mercer. Last semester was the most difficult time I have ever been through and to have a 4.0 during all the turmoil in my life was very uplifting. It was a blessing from above to be able to make it through that semester, and President’s list felt like a sign that things were going to be alright.

After overcoming many obstacles, Rebecca has managed to remain a contributing factor to Mercer University’s student body!
