What is a challenge when it comes to working on QuadWorks?
My biggest challenge is probably balance. When I’m given a project or task, I dedicate all of my time to that one thing and I tend to neglect some other aspect of my life. I guess we could say that I have tunnel vision. QuadWorks keeps me busy and I’m still learning to balance my QuadWorks responsibilities along with my academics and other life obligations.
What makes you stand out from other Mercerians?
Probably my hair. haha
Which year has been the hardest so far?
Junior year has been the most difficult so far. I’ve been challenged in so many different ways, both personally and academically. This has been a tough year, but I‘ve grown so much! It may sound super cliché, but I really do believe that oaks grow strong in contrary winds and diamonds are made under pressure. Despite this year’s challenges, it hasn’t been all bad. There are plenty of good things in there, too.
Future goals:
I’m going to medical school and pursuing a career as a physician. Right now I’m considering a specialty in pediatrics because I enjoy working with children.
If you didn’t attend Mercer, where would you have gone?
University of Florida. Go Gators!
