It’s the first week of Spring! There are cherry blossoms out and about all over Macon, musical concerts, and allergies. The weather is warmer, people seem happier, and colors appear to be more vibrant. So what are some events that you can attend this season in Macon?

The Cherry Blossom Festival

It’s Macon’s annual festival to celebrate the blooming of the 300,000 to 350,000 cherry blossom trees in the city. There are parades, contests, a fair, and everything PINK throughout Macon. This year the festival is from March 19 – April 6. To find out how to celebrate in the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World, click here

Humans vs. Zombies

What is a better way to get out of your room and run around in the sun? By being either a zombie or human of course! The Residence Hall Association is hosting this campus-wide, week-long game starting on March 23rd. There will be peers running all around and about next week. So prepare yourself or join in. Sign up now!

BEARSTOCK 2015

QuadWorks hosts BearStock every year. This event is a whole day filled with music from local artists as well as headliners. In previous years, Roscoe Dash, Yellow Card, 3OH3!, Krewella, and more have attended this festival. This year Timeflies, Relient K, and Electric Sons will be headlining. Enjoy the day in Tatnall Square Park with your friends, grab some refreshments, and jam out to great tunes. Find out updates on the event here.
