Power Breakfast in a Cup
Chia Seed Pudding Ingredients:
- Chia Seeds
- Liquid of your choice (almond, regular, soy milk, etc.)
- Vanilla Extract
- Agave syrup
Use a 3:1 ratio of chia seeds to the other ingredients
First Step: Chia seed pudding
- Mix up the chia seeds in a bowl with the liquids of your choice, agave and vanilla extract
- Leave in the fridge overnight for it to absorb the liquid
Second Step: Cut up fruit
- I like to add blackberries and raspberries, apples or pears and bananas
- It’s nice to add some crunchy fruit to balance out the texture
Third Step: Layer the fruit and chia seeds into a cup (parfait style)
- It’s surprising how filling this is!
- You can add a dash of liquid if the consistency is too thick
- Sprinkle some hemp hearts on top!
You’ll be sure feel amazing after such a nutritious and healthy breakfast. The chia seeds and hemp hearts are a great source of protein.
