The temperature is officially dropping, and Uggs and Canada Goose jackets are sure to make an appearance across campus soon. But fall fashion needn’t be sacrificed! After compiling trends from fashion magazines across the country, here are the top four fall fashion trends of the season.
Red
Red is very in this season. While summer graced us with hues of corals, orange-reds, and pink-reds, fall is all about being bold with red. Not to keen on the idea of rocking such a bold color? Start small by accessorizing with shoes, clutches, belts, or try a stylish fall coat.
Polka dots
These aren’t those polka-dotted dresses your mother would force you to wear. The polka dot has evolved since your playground days, and it had made a comeback on the runway. Polka-dotted sheer blouses are popular this fall. Pair them with black pants for a classy look, or with jeans for a casual night out.
Lace
Hints of lace are very sexy this season. Black, white, and beige look great in lace. Opt for a lace dress for cocktail night, or lace leggings to wear under your little black dress for a more discreet look. For a daytime look, go for a lace sweater worn over a pair of black tights. Lace is feminine and fun—but please, keep it classy!
Faux fur
Accents of faux fur paired with neutrals and an awesome pair of boots are the way to go this fall. This accessory can instantly jazz up your fall basics, so don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
So don’t let the weather get you down. Try incorporating these latest fall fashions into your daily wardrobe.
