The Fate of The Daily Publications Society: What Will McGill Vote?

From November 13 to November 16, members of the Students’ Society of McGill University will vote on The Daily Publications Society’s existence referendum, which will determine whether The Daily Publications Society will receive the funds it needs to operate the McGill Daily and Le DĂ©lit. The DPS runs the business and administrative parts of both newspapers and does not impact their editorial stances.

According to The Daily Publications Society, they need students to vote for the the DPS’s existence in order to receive funding and to renegotiate their contract with McGill University.

There are two active campaigns, one for approval of the DPS’s existence referendum and one against. Links to each respective Facebook event page can be found here:
