Collegiettes Get Beautified at Montreal’s Best Beauty Bars

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at McGill chapter.

From March 17th to March 22nd, we partnered with three salons to present Her Campus McGill Beauty Days. For five days, Rouge Nail Bar, Runway Beauty Bar and SCC Spa Urbain gave McGill collegiettes 20% off beauty services. The event was a huge success and was the perfect opportunity for girls who wanted to relax from the stress of school. We received great feedback from collegiettes about the event and their experiences at the salons and here is what they had to say:

“I loved the atmosphere at Rouge Nail Bar andI will definitely take my girlfriends when they visit Montreal. Screw the boring spa music, at Rouge you get to sit on leather couches and sift through magazines and even watch a movie while getting your nails done. They had The Hangover 3 playing on a flat screen and I wanted to overstay my welcome as soon as The Devil Wears Prada came on. Although I did not indulge, they had a menu of snacks and even – gasp! – mimosas available for purchase during the treatment. Not only did I have a fun time, but my aesthetician did a fabulous job.”

“I went to Runway Beauty Bar to get my eyebrows threaded. I was nervous at first but the aesthetician was very friendly and answered all of my questions. She was helpful in explaining to me the eyebrow shape that would work best for my face and she made me feel extremely comfortable during the threading process. I definitely would go back and I hope to get other beauty services done at Runway!”

“I had a lovely experience at SCC Spa Urbain. From the moment I walked in the door the aesthetician was attentive and welcoming. She took her time with the service and was eager to ensure that I was happy with the results. I will definitely be going back.”

Her Campus McGill would like to thank Rouge Nail Bar, Runway Beauty Bar and SCC Spa Urbain for their generosity in partnering with us. Visit their websites for more information on the services they offer.
