Campus Catwalk: Julie Choi

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at McGill chapter.

During the winter months, it’s completely normal to lack a little inspiration when it comes to what you wear every day. Getting up is hard enough, and then we also have to pick out a cute outfit that doesn’t look like we put it together in two minutes. For me, that’s practically impossible without a little help.

That’s why the fashion writers at Her Campus are here for you. We observe seasonal trends and take snapshots of the stylish collegiettes on campus. Take some advice from our books and you’ll never have to stress to dress again.

Here, Julie Choi, a first-year classical piano major, brings style to the ancient streets of Old Port on an excursion with her friend.  Her tall chocolate boots and cable-knit knee socks are the perfect combo for walking around the city mid-winter. The must-have piece in this outfit is the tan belted coat that can transform from fall to winter. To tie any outfit together during this season, accessorize like Julie with a knitted headband and satchel.  A look like this can be put together within minutes and will keep you standing out on those dreary winter days.
