This semester was only HC Marywood’s second semester as a recognized club on Marywood’s Campus. We are happy to say that we recruited throughout the semester and currently have a team of about 20. Being a recognized club on Marywood’s Campus means that we need to meet certain requirements throughout the semester including attending different meetings and conferences and also having to participate in a service event.
We are so proud of the accomplishments of our writers this semester, including Anna and Brooke! The two wrote an article about a gun incident on campus that they felt was handled incorrectly. They were recognized as an editor’s top 10 pick of the week the week that the article was published.
We want to thank our entire executive board, including Anna, Christiane, Lia and Brooke, for their incredible dedication and work ethic this semester. All four of these girls are extremely active both on and off campus but still devoted their time to HC. The bonds that have been made this semester at HC Marywood will last lifetimes. Our crew became so close over the course of the semester and we cannot wait for our bonds to grow even stronger next semester!
