Beyoncé: singer, dancer, mother, wife, philanthropist, diva, feminist, and overall badass entertainer. Let’s just admit that she is basically the Queen of America and Obama is simply the Prime Minister. If I had a dollar for every time I wished I was her, or at least have half of the success she has, my bank account will look like hers! Whether you want her bank account, envy her perfect bod, wish you and your boo was #relationshipgoals like her and Jay, or if you want the amount of success in your career as she has had in hers, you fit into the majority of people on this Earth!
But here’s the thing… we can all be Beyoncé – in our own right. Think about it, we all have the same 24 hours in a day as she has, so why don’t we make the most of it? Yes, Bey has insane vocals and is overall ridiculously talented, but she also has qualities that we all have- the ability to possess drive, determination, and passion. Beyoncé wasn’t always the Queen she is today. She has had to work hard and constantly test her limits and creativity. She has been told no, and lost competitions and awards. She has fallen down and gotten back up. Her love for her job drives her to never give up, to never settle, and to not accept anything she is not proud of putting her name on. These are lessons we can all learn from her.
Growing up being influenced by and idolizing this women for pretty much my entire life has motivated me to test my limits and dream big. If I think about all the times I’ve wasted caring what others thought of me or even letting opportunities slip pass me because I was afraid of something makes me cringe. Honestly time is too precious and valuable to be wasting it on things like fear and the opinions of others. We all need to get started building our Beyoncé Empire. We can’t keep letting trivial things stand in our way of our happiness. We can all be the Beyoncé of our own lives. She has used her 24 hours a day to make the most of her life, so let’s do the same.
