What is your favorite college memory so far? Oh wow, there are so many! I would say that my favorite college memory would have to be during my junior year. A bunch of my friends and I just decided one weekend that it would be a good idea to just go to the beach. To this day I still have no idea how that thought came about, or why we even thought it was good idea considering it was finals week. But, sure enough no more than 2 hours later, 5 of us were all packed up in one car with no plans at all, calling every hotel possible along the way trying to find a hotel to stay in. Needless to say, it was one of the best and most spontaneous moments of my life.

What do you see yourself doing after college? I am currently finalizing the final steps of my year and a half process in an effort to pursue my dream of working in Law Enforcement. Should the final steps of my long process get approved, I will be receiving my appointment to join the ranks of the Pennsylvania State Police.

What would your perfect date be like? I have never been a fan of your stereotypical dinner and a movie date. I am huge on going on your not so typical dates. An ideal date for me would be to go and pick up the lady friend for our date, have her and I go to the grocery store and together buy something completely random that neither of us have had before and take it home to cook and enjoy together. I feel like that is so much more fun, and randomly spontaneous, plus you get to learn so much about each other in the process. It’s different and different always peaks curiosity, which in turn always leads to new and exciting things! And of course there is nothing wrong with a little stay in movie and popcorn night on a comfy bed alone rather than at an uncomfortable theater with so many other annoying people.

What qualities do you look for in a girl? Intelligence for me is key. An intelligent woman knows how to take care of herself and is usually a natural leader. My most important quality would have to be independence, I love me an independent woman. I love knowing that she is very self-confident and doesn’t need anyone to hold her hand at all. She depends on none and is very secured within herself. Insecurity is a no go for me. She knows her goals, she knows where she is going and she needs no one but herself to get there. I am a firm believer that I get along best with people that are similar to me and all of the above describe me perfectly, so seeing those qualities in a women is just an immediate attention getter for me ;)

Favorite artist/musician: There is no way to answer that question. I am definitely into a little bit of everything but the majority of my interest in music lies within the beat. My iPhone is so random, one minute I am listening to Drake then just one song later it’s Taylor Swift and everything in between. As long as I can move to it, I’m cool with it.

Favorite place in the world: Puerto Rico without a doubt. It’s where my life is, it’s where I am from, it’s where my family is, and it’s what I represent and I do it proudly. The island itself is incredibly beautiful and having family there I get to see the real beauty outside of the touristy parts. It is my second home.

Celebrity Crush: O0O0O0O0O0O0O0 this one is hard. I have always had a thing for Carrie Underwood so I feel like I have to put her down, but I also love Jennifer Aniston, Eliza Dushku, and Eva Longoria.

What is your guilty pleasure? Shoes, without a doubt. I may or may not have a problem.

What’s your life motto/favorite quote? My dad gave me a poem when I was 14 years old right before he had to go away for 3 months for work on a very dangerous case. Right before he left he asked me what I wanted to be when I got older and I said that I wanted to be just like him. He reached in his wallet, gave me a poem, kissed me goodbye and said to watch over my momma. To date I still have the poem in my wallet and he told me to keep it as I purse my dreams. The poem later made its way into a movie (Act of Valor) so now naturally it’s my favorite movie.

The poem was:

“So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.”

Embarrassing confession? I am OBSESSED with Celine Dion, so much actually that I am an active member of her fan club. I think she is an incredible artist, and a beautiful woman. I will make it down to Vegas to see her even if it’s the last thing I do!

Hot or Not?

  • Girls in sneakers? I am a man that appreciates quality footwear when I see it, and if a female is wearing sneakers and wearing them correctly, I always vocalize my approval usually along with a high five to follow. Hot.
  • Hi-lo dresses? I have no idea what this is, so give me a second while I go google it………Oh My Goodness yes! Hot.

This or That?

  • Blonde or Brunette? I have always been particularly fond of blondes but after seeing the beautiful brunettes the city life has to offer I am slowly but surely becoming impartial.
  • Dressed up or bumming it? I guess I fall under bumming it, but I like to think of it more as being comfortable, and still giving everyone something to look at. I can wear my J’s when I dress up, and those that know anything about me know that if I cant wear my Jordans or Nike sneaks I am not a happy camper.
