What It’s Like to Live in a Dorm, as Told by Friends

Living in a dorm is one of the best and worst parts of college life.

For starters, moving in is definitely not easy.

But there is nothing more satisfying than finally saying goodbye to your parents on move in day.

And finding all of the things you forgot that you packed.

While getting the chance to talk to that cutie who lives on your floor.

There are parts of dorm life that are harder to adjust to than others, like the bathrooms.

And when you see the showers for the first time, you’re just like…

But its worth it, because your new best friends are right across the hall.

And their door is (almost) always open.

Living with your best friend is the best.

Even when she eats the leftovers you were SO excited about.

Or when you eat hers…

And when she distracts you while you’re supposed to be studying.

She understands you even before you’ve had your morning coffee.

And she’s up all night with you listening to the people above you being loud.

Sharing such a small space can be hard.

Especially when one of you has a boy over!

When you wake up in the morning and can’t figure out why you got no sleep the night before, and your roomie is like:

Eventually, you get sick of dining hall food, and you can’t help but feel like:
