Why did you come to UMD? In the end, it was between Drexel in Philadelphia or here. I decided to come here because it was closer to home and the architecture program was more in line with what I wanted to do in school and after school.
What’s your favorite part of UMD? I think I would say how big it is. There are so many different people and places to explore and there’s so much stuff going on every day.
Why did you join Gymkana? I did gymnastics when I was younger and I stopped in middle school. When I came to campus, I found Gymkana and went and tried it for a week and I’ve loved it ever since.
What do you see yourself doing after college? Running away to the circus. (Laughs.) Just kidding. Hopefully finding an amazing job at an architecture firm. Maybe exploring a new city, maybe moving somewhere.
Favorite place to eat? On campus, I would say Bagel Place since it’s pretty much on campus. Off campus, I would say Macaroni Grill.
Biggest pet peeve? Probably when sweatshirt strings aren’t even. (He then proceeds to play with his uneven sweatshirt strings.)
If you were an ice cream sundae topping, what would you be and why? Rainbow sprinkles because they add so much color to chocolate ice cream which is my favorite ice cream.
What’s a fun fact no one knows about you? I am an aerial silks performer. I think that’s an interesting fact about me.
