On Nov. 11, Her Campus Maryland writers and UMD volunteers modeled boutique fashions by Memorial Chapel. Red Hue Boutique, one of our publication’s sponsors for the year, graciously donated $500 worth of clothes and acessories for our models to showcase their fall and winter collections. In front of you are five gorgeous coats, ponchos and dresses that give flair to the common pullover jacket. All of the items seen in these pictures can be purchased in the store at 36 Maryland Ave. in Rockville Town Center, MD or at http://www.redhueboutique.com/.

Model: Krista Stucchio
Year/Major: Sophomore journalism
Where to Wear: “I would wear it to class if I was wearing comfortable boots but maybe a night out with my boyfriend or girlfriends.”
Description of apparel: “I think the dress is very nautical and vintage looking. I like that it can be paired with boots, flats or even tights if I wanted to wear it in the winter. It’s loose fitting and very comfortable.”
My personal style: “Comfortable vintage yet fun! I like pops of color and unique accessories.”

Model: Brittany Waters
Year/Major: Junior journalism
Where to Wear: “A dance or formal occasion.”
Description of apparel: “I really like the color of the dress because it goes with everything and it’s not a seasonal color. The slit up the side adds something extra.”
My personal style: “I like things that are girly but still comfortable.”

Model: Lisa Tucker
Year/Major: Sophomore journalism
Where to Wear: “I would wear this to class or even a day in D.C. It easily dresses up an outfit easily.”
Description of apparel: “I love that it’s out of the ordinary. You see peacoats but you don’t see capes or cloaks that often, so it’s a fun twist on a coat.”
My personal style: “Girly with some vintage mixed in.”

Model: Hannah Strakna
Year/Major: Sophomore International Business
Where to Wear: “A day in D.C. shopping, maybe even to class.”
Description of apparel: “I like the headband because it’s feminine and pretty. The coat is really warm and an interesting twist on a jacket. It’s made feminine with a bow.”
My personal style: “I like wearing vintage and feminine pieces mixed in with boho. I love lace.”

Model: Olivia Owens
Year/Major: Sophomore psychology
Where to Wear: “To class or a day out shopping.”
Description of apparel: “I think it’s a cute accessory to throw over an everyday outfit, I like the fact that the red is bright so it stands out. The color pops and it’s a good size.”
My personal style: “I like jeans and a cute top with boots, nothing too fancy but everyday casual.”

Meet Our Photographers:

Julia McLaughlin, junior English major
“I’ve shot at the Garden of Reflection and Remberance for past photoshoots and the pictures turned out well. It’s a spot on campus that not a lot of people know about. I’ve been doing photography for about 4 years.”

Joelle Levinas, sophomore communication major
“Light is a scarcity at this time of year so it makes taking pictures more difficult. Especially with the purple dress, I wanted to get flow and to get Brittany moving, so I took her to the Washington quad and had her do a little runway walk. I wanted to play with the colors of the trees where the color is this vibrant, especially with the gray coat because it’s a good contrast with the bright colors. I’ve been interested in photography for my whole life because my dad is into it but I’ve taken classes since middle school. My favorite tool is my 35 mm camera, oldschool style.”
