If you are anything like me right about now, all your classes are set and you just spent a fortune on textbooks. Your schedule is quickly filling up with meetings, study groups, homework and you feel like you do not really have that much time to breathe, let alone shop.With a daily routine jetting from class to class, grabbing lunch on the go, and attending meetings for clubs and organizations, it’s hard to find time to study.
But after hours in McKeldin library I am proud of myself for buckling down and doing what I am suppose to do academically. So, I reward myself with a little online shopping. Below are some of the websites I enjoy:
1. MakemeChic.com offers cute dresses, shoes, and women apparel for really good prices

2. Everyone knows and loves Forever21 but with such a busy schedule on campus you don’t always have time to take the Metro into D.C. Almost everything I purchase from forever21.com is a reasonable price and a lot of times the prices are cheaper online than in the store.

3. I was never a shoe person but over the summer I fell in love with heels. Shoedazzle.com allows you to take a style quiz and for 40 dollars a month a stylistic picks up a pair of shoes for you based on your shoe style. The great thing is if you don’t have 40 dollars to spare every month you can cancel your membership and if you don’t like a pair of shoes that your stylist picks out, you can send them back.

4. Charlotte Russe has a variety of great fashion finds. I usually purchase intimates and shoes because they have bras for a great price and their boots are stylish.

5. Although the sites above offer great fashion finds for good prices you can’t go wrong with a website that offers all of their merchandise for $5.99. 599fashion.com has a number of different items that are affordable and convenient for college students.

6. Between exams and writing papers students still find ways to attend parties, go to clubs, or hang out at the bar. Amiclubwear.com is my go to site whenever forever21.com is low on new clubwear.

If you use the reward system you don’t have to feel guilty for spending a little money. The most important thing is not to go overboard and treat the online shopping like a treat, not a necessity.One of the reasons I enjoy shopping online is because it can be done while I’m at work or have a free minute on McKeldin Mall. When I can’t spare a couple of hours at the mall I know I can still fill my closet with cute clothes without leaving campus!
