Honors tutor for Calculus II and lower, Honors ambassador, Community of Aspiring Shareholders (CASH) through the business school.
Â
What do you do during your free time?
I like to rock climb, skateboard, go to the gym, and hang out with my friends.
Â
Why did you choose UMD?
This school has a good engineering program. I also really liked the vibe I got from the students and the look of the school. I feel like this school is exactly what I expected college to feel like. It was also nice that I got into the honors college and received some scholarships.
Â
What do you like most about UMD girls?
One advantage is that there are a lot of them. And there are many different girls here of all different ethnicities and in all different majors. They are all really nice and have been all been nice to me. It’s also a plus that at UMD, you can find attractive girls that are smart too.
Â
What makes you unique?
I am accepting of all kinds of people and of what people think. I don’t like acting one way just because it’s the norm or because that’s what everyone else is doing. Also, I’m half white and half Indian, which I guess is unique.
Â
If you could take a girl out on a date in any country, what country would it be?
It depends on the girl but it would probably be France because Paris is a surefire win for a nice romantic date.
Â
Top 3 favorite movies? Goodwill Hunting, Fight Club, Limitless
Â
Who or what inspires you to succeed?
Opposition. It’s inspiring to see people overcome things that hold them down.
Â
What’s the best way to woo a girl?
I think it’s really important to really listen to a girl. Don’t just try to act like some swag guy. You should listen to her and make her feel like you really care. And you should smile a lot, I guess.
Â
Favorite TV show from your childhood?
It’s a tie between Rugrats and Arthur
Â
Best piece of advice you’ve ever heard?
“Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.” It’s a quote by James Dean.
Â
What are you most passionate about?
It changes. But right now I’m just really eager to be successful after college. I want to be able to do something to influence people’s lives and to make a positive change. That would make me really happy.
