Tailgate season is officially in full swing, and that can only mean one thing: new clothes. Ask any student the favorite part of their week, and I’m sure most – if not all – will tell you the same thing: game day. One of the perks of going to a Big 10 school is that everyone fully commits to spending the day with their friends, cheering on their favorite team. With the growing trend of finding the cutest tailgate clothes, there are now many different places and websites to shop for your favorite pieces. Or, if you’re the more creative type you can use these ideas to design your own personal look! That being said, I’m here to help you rep the Terps in the trendiest ways possible!
Fun Skirts
Fun skirts are a great way to spice up your outfit, and they look great with a simple t-shirt or tube top. There are so many different options to choose from and a red or yellow pick can add a great pop of color to your look. In the past year or so, denim jackets have become all the rage! They’re super trendy and will help keep you warm in the late-season games. You can spice up your look by ordering a custom-designed jacket online, or go the DIY route and thrift a jacket to customize it yourself!

Tube tops are pretty much a game day staple in College Park. They’re the perfect answer to any game day look, and they go with just about anything. It’s super easy to pair these tops with a cute pair of overalls, skirt, or shorts to immediately have an “insta-worthy” outfit!

Everyone knows that game days equal long days, so in all honesty, comfort is key. Throwing on an oversized jersey or t-shirt is the perfect way to show some spirit without being uncomfortable.
