12 Must-Have Winter Foods You Didn’t Know You Needed

Winter is coming, which means it’s time to pack on some layers to keep warm, stay inside and start snacking. Who needs to be cuffed this season when there’s so much food to comfort you? Love is in the air, and we can smell it!

So instead of the 12 Days of Christmas, celebrate 12 Days of Winter Feasting. Here are 12 must-have winter foods you should eat before the season ends!

1. Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Sip a cup as you sit by the fire.

2. Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies

Munch on a few sprinkled with candy canes as you read a good book by the window.

 

3. Waffles

Sprinkle your stack of waffles with some icing or powdered sugar. 

4. Fluff

Bored? Add some fluff to your cookies!

5. Snickerdoodles

Drool over some snickerdoodles as you snuggle with your pet and watch a good Christmas classic.

6. S’mores

Make some s’mores by the fire with friends and family as you laugh at old stories and cherish one another.

7. Syrup

Add some more sweetness to your breakfast waffles to brighten up your day when its snowing heavily outside.

8. Gingerbread 

Nibble on some gingerbread cookies before the little kids take it!

9. Chocolate
