Starting the New Semester Off Right

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Marshall chapter.

Winter break was filled with holiday festivities and maybe even a couple of snow days, but now the stress of trying to adjust into a new routine for spring semester (and the New Year!) has arrived. Every year, many of us plan out the perfect new year’s resolution only to feel the familiarity of not sticking to it by February. For this New Year, I propose we discard our guilt-inducing resolutions and adopt a new perspective on the situation, with thought provoking mantras and various quotes relevant to everyday situations to really help motivate and boost our confidence, even during the tough times in this new semester. Let’s have a great start to spring semester, Collegiettes!
