This weeks campus celebrity is none other than Mikey Holcombe. He is currently a Freshman at Marshall University majoring in Engineering. You’ve probably seen this familiar face on the side lines cheering on the Herd! Her Campus got the low down on everything about Mikey. Read what he had to say about why he loves to show his school spirit.
HC: What extracurriculars are you involved in?
M: Just cheerleading
HC: What made you want to be a Marshall University?
M: Scholarships was a big reason why I wanted to cheer, but I love school spirit. I also love to tumble and stunt, which I’ve always done.
HC: What are you hoping to achieve while at Marshall?
M: To get a degree, obviously. I also just want to enjoy my time here and make the most of it.
HC: What do you like to do in your free time?
Mikey: I love hunting and fishing.
