This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Marquette chapter.

Name: TJ LeMoine
Year: Sophomore
Major: Biomedical Sciences – Pre-Dent
Hometown: Green Bay (Go Pack!)

HCMU: What are you involved in on campus?
TJL: I am involved in Kappa Sigma, the Pre-Dental Organization, Orientation Staff, and Midnight Run.  I am also a leader of Global Brigades, a student group that travels to Nicaragua and works with the local communities to set up a Medical/Dental clinic and participate in numerous public health projects.

HCMU: What’s your campus dining hall of choice?
TJL: Well I don’t think any second semester sophomore is loving the dining halls anymore, but I’d say the AMU because it has the most variety.

HCMU: How do you eat your Lucky Charms?
TJL:
You need a good marshmallow to “crunchy stuff” ratio in each bite.

HCMU: What chips do you get with your sandwich from Erbs & Gerbs?
TJL: Original.  But I’m not totally bland, I promise.

HCMU: Do you have any secret talents?
TJL: I can hold my own on a sailboat.  I also grew up on an Alpaca farm so I’m pretty good around animals.

HCMU: What is your guilty pleasure?
TJL: I’ve been a drummer since I was 10 and always enjoy any chance I can to sit down at a set and play around.

HCMU: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
TJL: Probably on Long Island outside of New York City, but France or Ireland sound pretty awesome as well. I’d love to be on the water.

HCMU: What’s your favorite kind of movie?
TJL: I’m open to a lot of different movies but you can’t go wrong with “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Star Wars,” or anything with Johnny Depp.  (Disney is implied).

HCMU: Where would you take a girl on a date if you wanted to impress her?
TJL: A great date would be to explore a city together, like New York or San Francisco. Just to get lost, find a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, and be spontaneous.

HCMU: What do you love most about Marquette?
TJL: I love Marquette’s location and size.  It’s neat to be in the heart of urban Milwaukee and to be so close to the lake.  Marquette’s size offers a great sense of community, but offers the opportunity to meet someone new at any point.

Thanks, TJ!
