Why did you join HC?
I love writing, I love flexibility, I love having a voice and I love everything HC stands for- so here I am! I’m also super interested in pursuing a career in magazine and HC gives me tons of networking opportunities.
What do you love most about HC?
I love the fact that we get to write articles that college women relate to and love. Whether I’m talking about something silly or something serious, I know someone else is loving it!
What else are you involved in on campus?
I’m the Executive Arts & Entertainment Editor at the Marquette Wire- which I love and keeps me super busy! Plus I’m in Kappa Delta, campus ministry, Spoon Marquette and Dance Inc.
What do you love most about Marquette?
The people here are amazing. Which sounds so cheesy, but it’s so true. I have an absolutely incredible and diverse group of friends and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.
What’s your favorite thing to do in MKE?
Eat. But seriously the food here is amazing. I also really love going down to the lake- it’s so peaceful and beautiful.
Any advice for freshman?
Adjusting to college takes time, so be patient. I wasn’t really homesick my freshman year, but it took some trial and error to figure out where I fit in and adjust to the culture. Now I couldn’t be happier- you can make Marquette home!
What’s been the highlight of your summer?
I spent the first month of summer taking a photography class in Copenhagen, Denmark which was such a blast.
