Kat is a PR/Ad major and hoping to pursue a career in either of those areas after graduation this Spring. Katera is the epitome of a ‘cool-girl’, she drinks Jack Daniels, rocks the high-top Converse and knows everything there is about music.
When Katera isn’t killing it at happy hour, she’s either hanging out in the j-pad, planning some of the coolest events in Milwaukee with her job at the Journal Sentinel or playing with her fluffy bunny, Doc. Kat has worked for the Journal for the past year and has had her hand in events like Land the Big Gig and Wisconsin Bands to Watch.
Katera is the president of HerCampus Marquette and worked tirelessly for almost a year to get HerCampus established on MU’s campus. The HBIC also served on Dance Marathon Marquette’s executive board. This year, she and the organization raised more than $52,000, surpassing their $50,000 goal.
In ten years, you’ll find Katera hanging out at her local watering hole, likely a place that has a killer music scene, drinking whiskey still killing it in her Marquette blue Converse.
