I love everything about fall: the fashion, the weather, and of course pumpkin spice lattes. This year I wanted to be a little more adventurous when it comes to my daily coffee and order a different variety of fall drinks from starbucks’s menu.
(I get all my beverages iced with oatmilk)
4. Apple Crisp Macchiato
This was… interesting. It wasn’t bad necessarily, but I don’t see myself ordering this again. I just do not think apples and coffee mesh well together. It simply tasted wrong. It was sweet and I feel like the flavor would be good in something without coffee, like a frappuccino.
3. Pumpkin Spice Latte
OK I know I started this article talking about how much I love pumpkin spice lattes, but this one places third when it comes to Starbucks’s fall drinks simply because the others are sooo good. It’s pumpkiny, it’s spicy, what more could I want?
2. Iced Chai with Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam
I saw this drink in a TikTok and IMMEDIATELY had to try it! It’s delicious. It tastes like how fall feels: cozy, comforting, with a crispness. Chai tastes like Christmas cookies to me, and the addition of the pumpkin cold foam takes it up a notch and makes it feel as though the holidays came early and I’m eating pumpkin pie with my family in front of a fireplace.
1. Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
OMG this drink is heaven. I think I will cry when they discontinue it for the season. I’m literally drinking one as I write this. The foam is sweet and has that beautiful pumpkin flavor, and the cold brew balances it out with the iconic bitterness of coffee. I get mine with a little splash of oatmilk to make it a bit creamier.
