Podcasts are a great way to either unwind, learn new information, catch up on current events, or dive into a true crime mystery. Here are five of my favorite podcasts that you should consider checking out:

“Presidential” – Lillian Cunningham

In 44 episodes, this podcast explores the “character and legacy” of each president – great for history buffs!

“Serial,” Season One – Sarah Koenig

This investigative journalism podcast explores the murder of 18 year old Hae Min Lee in 1999. Although her ex-boyfriend at the time, Adnan Syed, was convicted, Koenig visits him in jail today to hear his side of the story.

“S-Town” – Brian Reed

What starts off as an investigation of a murder case, turns into something much different once Reed meets the eccentric and captivating John McClemore.

NYT: “The Daily” – Michael Barbaro

Catch up on the most relevant news stories: 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

“Nourishing Minds Nutrition” – Meghan Dixon and Victoria Myers

Two registered dietitians talk about holistic health and challenge conventional nutritional and societal expectations to guide listeners to a life of “wellness without obsession.”

Isabelle is a journalism and history major at Marist college.
Sarah Dorothy Lynch is a junior at Marist College studying Journalism and Public Relations with a passion for writing, travel, and bread (all varieties). If she ever met Emma Stone, she would likely keel over.
