If you ever wondered what would happen if Tommy Hilfiger had a Punk Rock inspired collection, his latest fashion show will answer that: his #TommyNow show closed off London Fashion week at The Roundhouse. This was the label’s first show in London in 20 years and there could not have been a more perfect venue. The show was an homage to the fashion seen on the streets of London during the classic rock era of the 70s. The collection was a perfect blend of 70’s Punk Rock and the Classic Tommy we know and love. The show was opened and closed by Gigi Hadid, especially fitting as the show also debuted new pieces from the brand’s TommyxGigi collection. Here are some of the best looks from the show:

1. The All-American Tommy Hilfiger we all know and love is showcased through the plaid fabric of the over-sized coat and the denim patchwork shorts. The Punk Rock London is seen though the cropped black top, over-size coat, and knee-high sheer black socks. Model: Gigi Hadid.

2. In this look, the sweater with the brand’s logo and denim shorts show off the All-American side whereas the oversize leather jacket, with leopard printed shoulders and gold detailing as well as the thigh high socks make the look Punk Rock. Model: Joan Smalls.

3. The whole vibe of the show is showed off in this one look alone. The TommyxGigi is show in the ski cap that has the model/designer’s name in Metallica-style lettering. The navy crop top with red stripes shows off the classic Tommy we all know and love. The high-wasted glossy leather pants with gold zipper detailing scream Punk Rock. And the navy over-sized puffer jacket with fuzz detailing on the sleeves and the long red, white, and blue striped scarf with fringe on the bottom sums up the theme of the show in a singular piece of clothing. Model: Luna Bijl.

4. While the Punk Rock elements are obvious, this look sides more with the lowkey, classic Tommy. The ski hat, leather shorts, thigh-high socks, chain necklace, and lanyard give the punk rock vibes. The black turtleneck is a classic staple and the classic blue plaid shirt gets revamped with red detailing by the shoulders and studs on the cuffs. Model: Josephine Skriver.

5. What could have been a cookie-cutter example of a classic Tommy look, with the plaid shirt-dress and navy coat gets elevated here. The plaid-shirt dress gets the Punk Rock makeover with red plaid on the collar and shoulders as well as the frayed bottom. The classic coat gets a taste of punk rock by being over-sized. The lanyard and thigh-high sheer socks just add subtle cues of Punk Rock. Model: Aria Ferriera

6. This look is an ode to the athleisure trend that has taken the fashion world by storm. The powder blue color of the bomber jacket adds softness to an otherwise edgy look. The sports bra is right on trend with the cutout detail. The leggings are also on trend with the sheer detailing on the thighs. The hand warmers, ski cap, and patched on the jacket as well as the TommyxGigi logo on the top and bottoms work to emphasize the Punk Rock theme. Model: Yasmin Wijnaldum.

7. This is another look that leans more on the Classic Tommy side. The color scheme and pattern of the dress screams All-American Tommy. The Punk Rock gets mixed in with the ski cap, thigh-high socks, and hand-warmers. Model: Sara Witt.

8. It would not be a proper ode to the rock ‘n roll in London during the 70s if you didn’t have the daughter of Mick Jagger, a man who symbolized this era, as a model for the show. She models yet another look that falls more on the Classic Tommy end of the spectrum. She sports a collared plaid dress with a black bow and detailing on the bottom. Even the socks are a toned-down edgy with the signature navy, white, and red stripes at the top. The Punk Rock vibe comes to play with the spikes on the collar of the dress and the black and red hand-warmers and turtle neck. Model: Elizabeth Jagger.

9. This look is the perfect blend of Classic Tommy and Punk Rock. The look is equally preppy as it is grungy. The over-size jacket is edgy because it’s oversized. The patchwork and white fur scream preppy. The striped turtleneck, leather shorts, and thigh-high socks contrast each other perfectly to show that when prep meets punk rock, amazing things can happen. Model: Camille Hurel.
