Adam Rippon is arguably the best thing to come out of the 2018 Winter Olympics.  From his hilarious posts on social media, to his amazing answers to interview questions, Rippon is an absolute delight–well deserving of a gold in my book.

Here are some of the most *Oh my god that’s so me* moments Rippon gifted us with.

1) When he expressed his pre-performance nerves in this all too relatable way

“I want to throw up. I want to go over to the judges and say, ‘Can I just have a Xanax and a quick drink? I’ll be fine.’ But I kept it together.”

2) When he said he credited his victory to Reese Witherspoon

“I owe this medal a lot to [Reese Witherspoon] and to my mom. But, like, more to Reese in a way, ya know? Because she has more followers on Instagram.”

3) When he told Ellen he has moved on from Harry Styles and is currently into Shawn Mendes

“I’ve been sleeping on Shawn Mendes.” Same.

4) When he gave us all hope by saying this

“To watch Mirai Nagasu go out there and also skate a clean free skate…I mean, we’ve really been through a lot together. Four years ago, we were eating In-N-Out on the roof of her house in Arcadia, California, and we were crying that we weren’t at the Olympics, and four years later, we’re sharing an Olympic podium together. So, if you’re ever depressed, go to In-N-Out, and four years later you’ll be at the Olympics!”

5) Lastly, when he described what the Olympics are like in the most perfect way possible

“If you ever have the option, come to the Olympics, it’s like a fun time.”

Thank you for being you Adam.
