5 Dates to go on in the Hudson Valley this Fall as Told by a Marist Girl and her Instagram.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Marist chapter.

Who doesn’t love the fall?  Pretty leaves, cool nights, bonfires, pumpkin spice, uggs, flannels…and tons of unique dates like these that will only make you FALL deeper in love:

1.     DuBois Farms

Not only is DuBois right across the river in Highland, but it’s the perfect place to go apple picking OR pumpkin picking with bae

2.  Hiking at Minnewaska State Park Preserve– what’s better than getting all gross and sweaty on a date? Getting all gross and sweaty on a date WITH a beautiful view, of course.

And who knows, maybe you’ll go back for your wedding ceremony like this couple did a few weeks ago at Minnewaska State Park

3.  The Headless Horseman– If you’re up for a scare and want to see if your guy is capable of making you feel safe, head to the Headless Horseman in Ulster park for a haunted hayride

And after you’re scared half to death and he’s passed the hot-and-protective test with flying colors, you can post something like this on Instagram:

Potential caption: Thanks for always protecting me, babe

(Black and white filter must be used for proper effect)

4. Picnicking at Innisfree Garden in Millbrook

Forget Netflix and chill, take a chance on picnic and chill

5. Good eats, good views– If you’re in the mood for something a little more low key and local, stop at Lola’s for brunch before a scenic stroll on the Walkway Over the Husdon

Wishing every date was this insta-worthy? Now, it can be!
