Brunch. The time of day when it’s socially acceptable to pair breakfast foods with classic lunchtime meals. It’s the time of day when the possibilities are endless, or should I say, bottomless. Filled with great food, great times and great friends, it’s an outing where you can sit down and enjoy the company of some of your closest friends during the best time of day. One of the best things about New York City is the wide variety of eateries it has to offer. With so many great choices, it can be difficult narrowing down your options of where to go. To help make your decision easier, here’s a list of five unique and delicious places to brunch in New York City!

  1. The Grey Dog

First on the list is the Grey Dog. Located in various locations across the city including Lower Manhattan, Union Square, Chelsea and the Flatiron District, this American coffee house and restaurant is the ultimate brunch spot. Known for its excellent service and amazing vibes, this place is the perfect spot to spend your Saturday brunch with friends! 

  1. Jack’s Wife Freda

This all-day NYC bistro offers a variety of American-Mediterranean dishes for you to enjoy! The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious, placing it in the top five places to brunch in NYC! If you decide to take a trip down to one of their locations in SoHo, Chelsea or Carmine Street, make sure to try their roasted cauliflower dish!

  1. The Horny Ram

The creative ambiance of this “farm-to-table bistro & brunch spot” provides a fun and exciting dining experience! Their brunch specials are offered every Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m, so make sure to stop in with some friends to enjoy a great atmosphere and amazing comfort foods!

  1. Mudspot

Located on the Lower East side of Manhattan, the Mudspot provides you with the most bang for your buck! With brunch offered all day, there’s no excuse not to give this place a shot and try out their delicious sandwiches yourself!

  1. Nomo’s Kitchen

This rustic, yet modern, restaurant is the perfect place to brunch if you’re looking for a spot with flavorful foods and a backdrop perfect for taking pictures!
