Ladies and gents, the Spring Break clock is ticking! So, pick up the pace on the treadmills, kill those ab workouts, and purchase the cutest neon bathing suit set at Pac Sun, because you’re about to have the time of your life! Where, you may ask? Don’t sweat it (no pun intended), we’ve got you covered. Here are some of our fave Spring Break vacation spots:

Miami Beach

LMFAO didn’t write a song about the MIA for nothing. Although it is a bit overrated, you won’t regret it in the slightest. Miami has some of the finest hotels, some of which celebrities party at or even own (maybe the beauteous Sam Hunt will be there this year… fingers crossed!). This may be a pricey trip, but you should definitely keep in mind that these hotels are adjacent to the beautiful, well-known Miami Beach. Even the Floridians say Spring is prime time to visit Miami because of its sunny, non-sticky weather and the endless amount of activities at one’s disposal. Whether you’re soaking up the sun on a rented yacht, shopping till you drop at an upscale shopping center like Lincoln Road Mall, or even bar-hopping and enjoying the night life, you really can’t go wrong visiting Miami Beach.

Bahamas

Luxurious resorts. Scuba-diving. Swimming with Dolphins. Piña coladas. Doesn’t get any better than that! The Bahamas is a well-known family vacation spot, especially for the wealthy, but this beautiful island has slowly become a Spring Break hotspot, too. For those seeking a relaxing time after the endless amount of papers written, Bahamas is the place to be. Crystal-clear waters and soft, powdery sand add to the essence of this beautiful place. However, it too has attractions for the adventure-lovers, like that of hiking, parasailing, historic sites, snorkeling, and much, much more. In other words, it doesn’t matter what you’re looking for, the Bahamas has got it all!

Cancun

Cancun takes the gold for one of the most affordable vacation spots, even during the Spring Break season. It is a very touristy area, but still manages to preserve a reputation for one of the most popular vacation spots, especially for college students. You can start your day off with plenty of shoreline activities like parasailing, jet-skiing, boating, scuba-diving. But, try not to let these activities wear you out, because the night is still young… Cancun is known for their vibrant night scene and beachside bars. Let’s not forget they have some of the best food out there!

Panama City

Once you go PC, you don’t go back. Panama City might just be every college student’s favorite Spring Break location and I can definitely see why. Every year, it is packed with college students from all around the country (what better way to meet new people and network?!). It is also home to one of the largest nightclub in the country: Club La Vela. They also have daily parties on the beach and concerts, which means there wont even be time to text your friends back home. We wouldn’t want to make them jealous either! If you’re on a budget but still want to party it up, you better pack your bags and book a flight to Panama City!

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo is very well-known for its beautiful Playa del Amor, which is rather south of downtown. Preferred by many couples, like its name entails, it does not have bathrooms or beach bars. It truly is the romantic getaway. However, it isn’t just an island for the enamored. Us single ladies can enjoy it too! Golf courses are big here, so whether you’re the next Annika Sorenstam or just want to peep some cute golfers, Cabo is the place for you!
