Over winter break I found myself with extra time so I decided to relax and watch movies with my family. Here are three of my favorite movies that I watched that I would highly recommend!
1. HerselfÂ
Herself is the story of a mother and her two young girls leaving their abusive father in hopes of a better life. It was released in 2021on amazon and it is free if you have amazon prime. It is based in Ireland and is a drama film. I would highly recommend this movie as the story is so moving. Get the tissues ready!
2. Catch Me If You CanÂ
Catch Me If You Can is based on the story of Frank Abagnale Junior. He worked as a doctor, lawyer and copilot all before his 18th birthday. With Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio as the main characters of the film it is an amazing movie. It is a drama, comedy and crime film. It was released in 2002 so it is an older movie but it has a great ending. It is on Netflix.Â
3. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and VileÂ
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is a drama, biography and crime film that was released in 2019. It is the story of Ted Bundy played by Zac Efron and it is in the perspective of his girlfriend played by Lily Collins. It is a very interesting movie that really helps you gain insight into the story of Ted Bundy.Â
All in all, these three movies were three of my favorites that I watched over break. I can not recommend them enough. I hope you all enjoy watching them as well! Â
