St. Ives + Oatmeals Review

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Manhattan chapter.

This week our chapter was selected to take part in a review of St Ives’ oatmeal-based skincare line and OatMeals’ St. Ives Radiance Boost Bowl. St. Ives is a quality line of skincare products ranging from body lotions to a variety of different body scrubs and acne treatments. They are recognized for using ingredients such as walnuts and oatmeal to naturally create fresh radiant skin. Recently, St. Ives teamed up with Oatmeals NY to bring the goodness of oatmeal to life by creating a bowl made up of ingredients used to enhance skin complexion.

Our team was sent this cute box with three different products to review: the Nourish & Soothe Oatmeal & Shea Butter body lotion, the Nourish & Soothe Oatmeal body scrub and two of their new St. Ives Radiance Boost Bowls.

First we’ll talk about the Oatmeal & Shea Butter Body Lotion:

“When I first picked up the St. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter Body Lotion, I thought I was going to have a really thick body lotion that smelled strongly of oatmeal. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The lotion itself smells amazing – and is long-lasting. I’ve always been frustrated with great-scented lotions that don’t hold their scent all day, but the scent of St. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Body Lotion lasts all day. I had only used the product for a day before I noticed that my skin was noticeably smoother and softer. I’ve been a pretty die-hard fan of any body lotion that contained cocoa butter, but I can say definitively that I won’t be going back to my once-beloved cocoa butter body lotions.” – Caroline Chu

The Second product is the the Nourish & Soothe Oatmeal body scrub:

“When I first looked at the product, my initial thoughts were that it was going to have a subte smell and it was going to be rough like an apricot scrub. I was surprised to find out it was the opposite. This scrub was anything but rough. It had very little grains and it and felt almost like a combination of a lotion and a scrub. I used the product prior to shaving and noticed that my legs were smoother, which gained the body scrub a permanent place in my shower routine. Overall, this product is great and I recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin but still needs a little extra roughness to scrub away dry skin.” – Rachel Francisco.

And last, but not least, the St. Ives Radiance Boost Bowl:

I woke up this past Tuesday, excited to try out this oatmeal. I made it with hot water, waited 3 minutes and it was done. I chose to add cinnamon and chia seeds for an extra kick, but soon realized that it didn’t even need that. The oatmeal was the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch. The dried fruit and almonds really made it taste nice. I enjoyed the texture and how it wasn’t too watery. The packaging was so cute. Overall the experience was lovely and I wish I could eat this everyday.” -Alex Frederick
