Why did you choose Manhattan? I knew a lot about the school from my sister who is an alumni of the college. Although I said that I would never come here, being the annoying little sister I am, it was inevitable. I loved the school since we first moved my sister in her freshman year. It really feels like home.
Â
What extra-curriculars are you a part of? I am on the swim team and also write for Her Campus and for The Quadrangle.

Â
Why did you decide to run for the Editor-in-Chief position? Being a journalism major and seeing my sister succeed during her time with The Quadrangle, running for editor-in-chief was always in the back of my mind. But I officially decided to run when some of my editors suggested that I would make a great editor-in-chief and even nominated me for the position. I felt so honored that they believed so much in me and I did not want to let them down. Having other people think your right for the job is much more gratifying than wanting the job for yourself.
Â
What was your reaction when you found out you won? Happy, of course! I was so nervous, everyone wanted to come up to me afterwards to congratulate me and I didn’t want them to notice how clammy my hands were. The texts that I sent out to friends and family afterwards were full of typos because I was too excited — not very journalistic of me.Â
Â
Where do you hope to see yourself after you’ve graduated? Employed.
Â
What has been your best memory since you’ve been at MC? While I’ve made some great memories so far, I hope the best is yet to come.Â
