I am a firm believer in the mindset: look good, feel good. Dressing up and feeling cute on a regular ol’ Tuesday can really make a difference. Here are some trends to keep in mind when stepping into the new year.

Baguette Bags

Named after the way Parisian women hold their baguette on the way home from the boulangerie, these bags are such a classic. Carrying one of these automatically makes you look a little more put together and are just so effortlessly cute. There are so many of these purses out there, from high end to Amazon to thrift store treasures. I don’t believe these bags will ever be out of fashion.

90’s Inspired Outfits

Oh, the 90’s… What a time for fashion. Headbands and scrunchies, high waisted jeans, oversized everything, graphic tees, the list goes on. There is no doubt that just about everything ’90s will make its appearance for yet another year throughout 2021.

Fox Eye

The fox eye was made popular by the likes of ever so flawless Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid. It’s super cute and really helps to lift the face in order to achieve a super snatched makeup look. I have been obsessed ever since my first attempt at the trend and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Leather, Leather, Leather

Leather = Everything. No, but seriously, there is nothing better than wearing your favorite leather jacket. Something about it just makes you feel like a badass, even if you’re wearing a pair of your old joggers and beat up air force ones. The leather blazer was a huge trend we saw in 2020 that definitely won’t be dying out this year. Leather pants are also just so amazing. I love leather, can you tell?

Colorful Eye Look

This trend definitely gives off Euphoria vibes, and I am here for it. A pop of color in the eye is such a cute trend that anyone can hop on. One-color across the eyelid or perhaps an eyeliner moment, you’re sure to get compliments and turn heads with this look. Stepping out of the comfort zone of neutral eyes can be so much fun!

There are a handful of other trends that will surely be popular throughout the coming year and undoubtedly a couple of new ones. Fashion trends can change on a day to day basis, which makes it difficult to keep up with. At the end of the day, we should all embrace our own personal style, dress for ourselves and wear what we feel most confident in!
