If you haven’t seen Portlandia yet, then you need to jump on the bandwagon already. The show stars Fred Armisen (of Saturday Night Live and Documentary Now fame) and Carrie Brownstein (actress/writer/musician/superhero), who play a bunch of recurring characters such as the owners of Women and Women First Bookstore, power-couple Peter and Nance or sometimes themselves. These characters all live in the trendy and hipster city of Portland, Oregon. But even if you’re not from Portland, the show is relevant as we start to finish out our semester.
