New York City is the largest city in the United States, so there is a lot to do. Sometimes it’s overwhelming with the number of options. I have compiled a list of 6 fun and free things to cross off your bucket list next time you’re in the city!

**

Times Square

A New York Classic. Bright lights and street performances all over. If you’re new to the city, this is a great place to start. You can shop or get broadway tickets to see a new show! It’s also home to a very large array of food from different cultures.

Greenwich Village

If you’re not one for big crowds, Greenwich village is the place for you. Washington Square Park is a great place to hang out with friends. The village is known for being the ‘bohemian capital”, filled with a bunch of thrift and bookshops.

Hudson Yards/ Vessel

Hudson Yards is a new trendy place located on 12 Ave and West 34th St. It hosts a lot of great shops and restaurants, but most importantly the Vessel. The Vessel is a structural landmark which you can climb up. It has great views of the Hudson River and New Jersey. Also, it’s a great place to take Instagram pictures

Central Park

The city life isn’t for everyone. Central Park is a great place to do a lot of things like going on a walk or renting boats with your friends for the afternoon. It’s great to go in the fall to see the foliage and feel a nice autumn breeze.

Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is a personal favorite. Not only do you get great views of the skyline but if you are going into Brooklyn you’ll be in Dumbo. Dumbo has tons of great restaurants. Also, if you are looking for a place to have a photoshoot, Dumbo has great views.

The Highline

The Highline is a mile long old above-ground railroad converted into a park. My favorite part of the Highline is the art. They display different art every season. It is a great way to see New York from above!
