So the semester is almost over which means beach season is just around the corner. Did you get hit with the infamous freshman 15? If you did, don’t worry just yet! There is still time to recover from an entire year of drinking and late night snacks.

Get your but into the gym! The first step to dealing with a problem is admitting you have a problem. The first step to weight loss is getting up and getting active! Whether you’re walking, running, biking, or swimming, if you are up and active you’re already on the right path to recovery. But be careful on the machines.

Put down the chips and ice cream! Start eating healthy! I know, I know, eating healthy is such a hassle and everything healthy doesn’t taste good. Wrong! Eating healthy doesn’t mean changing your whole diet. Start with cutting out some junk foods and eating three good meals a day.

The freshman 15 hits everyone whether they want to admit it or not. With a little bit of motivation like beach season coming up and some commitment, you can reverse this terrible freshman curse! Most of all, don’t be too hard on yourself!
