The other day in my fashion marketing class we were going over slides about the fashion trends of each generation starting sometime around the 30’s. As we went through each decade it pin pointed all the major trends that influnced these generations. But when we finally reached the 2000’s in big bold letters it read “recycled fashion from previous generations”. While of course the 2000’s have their own trends to be remembered for, like Von Dutch Trucker hats and The imfamous Juicy Couture track suit, it has become more and more obvious that we are reverting back to some of the classic styles of previous generations. Over this past year it seems as if the 90’s trends are making the most come backs. I’ve made up a list of the top 10 90’s trends making a comback today.

1. Doc Martens

2. Leather Biker Jackets

3. Chokers

 4. Dark Lipstick

5. Chunky Platforms

6. Sneakers with non-work out clothes

Like these Adidas superstars that are sold out in almost every size until june.

7. Denim Jackets

8. Crop Tops

But not the type of crop top where your whole stomach is showing. rather a classy one paired with high waisted jeans or a skirt.

9. Mini Backpacks

Because having to hold your bag is a hassel.

10. Calvin Klein Underwear

Yeah seriously underwear made the list. While stars like Marky Mark and Kate Moss put these undies on the map in the 90’s. Today Stars like Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner can be seen showing off their Calvins.
