It’s almost been a year since the pandemic started. The social aspect of college has completely changed since the pandemic began. Students want to meet new people and make friends, but they do not know where to begin. For that, Lynn University has been planning COVID-friendly activities and organizations, and this semester there are plenty of new events planned so you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own campus to branch out during this stressful time!

Lynn University has two sororities and three fraternities. The sororities on campus are Theta Phi Alpha and Sigma Sigma Sigma. For all the ladies, coming up soon in February, these organizations have Spring recruitment. Joining Greek life is a great way to meet new people and create forever lasting friendships. Even if you do not end up in a sorority, you get to meet amazing people during recruitment that could turn into lifelong friends.

Lynn University finally opened a pop-up gym; it is located on the University Center’s basketball court. This is a great way to meet people and stay active. Lynn University also offers club sports; so even if you are not on a sports team does not mean you can’t stay active. Some of the club sports you can join are soccer, basketball, hockey, and lacrosse.
- Creativity

Lynn University has several different clubs where you can express your creativity. The film club allows you to do various activities: you can act, edit and film. This club will be the perfect fit for you if you love creating films! The best part is that you don’t have to be a film major to be part of this club. If you are more interested in animation, the AIM Arts Club is perfect for you. There is also the Fashion and Retail club, which is perfect if you are interested in the field. At the end of every semester, the Fashion and Retail club host a fashion show.

Lynn University is a super international community. There are several clubs on campus that represent different nationalities. This is a great way to meet people from your country or a new country. These clubs promote diverse cultures and create a home away from home for the students of these countries.
- Student Activities Board

The Student Activities Board works hard to have different activities on campus every day. The organization promotes few events per day all over campus, with a wide variety of activities that are posted on the Lynn University events app, with their times and location. These activities are great to meet new people and see what is happening on campus.
All these different clubs and activities are a great way to meet new people and get more involved on campus. Trust me, Lynn University has something for everyone. If you want to create a club that doesn’t exist at Lynn, you can do this. Lynn University always wants to add new clubs, so if students want to start their club, they are encouraged.
