Game, Set, Match! The US. Open started this past Monday, and all the fashion trends are out and about around the tennis grounds.The lead inspiration for the fashion of the tournament is Morgan Riddle, Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend and style influencer. She’s known for her get-ready with me on TikTok. So, if you are headed to the courts this next week, here are some of the latest trends to watch for. 

1. Dress like the Pros: The tennis dress trend has continued, especially on the courts. With the NYC weather being hot and sticky, tennis dresses are the jam. Their moisture-wicking fabric, along with their built-in skin protection, is one of the perfect duos to hit and watch the courts under that New York sun. 

2. The classic dress: The traditional English fashion dress trend has come over from the Wimbledon major. Again, for the warm days that the city weather is now offering, a flowy summer dress is another excellent option. Pair this summery outfit with classic white sneakers, and you are in for a beautiful yet comfortable day at the Open. 

3. A glam moment: Even though you are attending a tennis match, you must remember that you are in NYC, the city where dreams come true. So, a classic glam moment with tailored pants and a button-down is another huge trend that is on the rise. 

4. Jeans and a basic top: A classic pair of white or blue jeans with a simple top is also on the trend for night matches. Gold jewelry ensures that the outfit is dressed up enough but also severely comfortable for sitting under the lights. Pair it with some lovely and dainty gold jewelry to dress up the outfit. 

5. The classic tennis bracelet: The tennis bracelet is coming back in style this year at the Open. The tradition started when tennis star Chrissie Everts’s tennis bracelet fell off her wrist in the 1987 US Open. The classic, chic, and elegant piece is the perfect way to dress up any outfit.
