The Perfect Fall Playlist For All Those Fall Feels!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lynn chapter.

One of my favorite things about Fall is the vibe it gives off. Fall is simple, pretty, colorful, comfy,

not too cold, and indeed not too hot. Fall is for the perfect sweater weather, and there is no

better way to kick off this fall season with the perfect playlist!

Here are some songs I suggest that will go with your perfect Fall playlist!

Sweater Weather: The Neighbourhood

This is my most played song during the Fall! The title, the lyrics, everything about

this song feels like Fall!

Cause it’s too cold

For you here

And now, so let me hold

Both your hands in the holes of my sweater.”

Out Of My League: Fitz and the Tantrums

This song right here is my absolute favorite! The beat, tone, lyrics, and everything about this

song gives me so much serotonin! Especially the chorus and the beat within the lyrics; it just

gives me some happiness.

Cause you were

out of my league

All the things

 I believed

You were

just the

right kind

Yeah,

you were more than

just a dream.”

I Don’t Want To Be: Gavin Degraw

Here is another iconic song, especially if you have seen One Tree Hill because you will be

obsessed with this song like I am! The chorus is the iconic central part of this song because it

was the “One Tree Hill” theme song and sung by only Gavin Degraw.

“I don’t want

 to be

Anything other than

what I’ve been trying

to be lately

All I have

to do

Is think of me

and

I have peace of mind

I’m tired

 of looking ’round rooms

Wondering what

I’ve got to do

Or who

I’m supposed to be

I don’t want to be

anything other than me.”

Beautiful Soul: Jesse McCartney

This song brings me right back to my childhood! This was the Baby version of Justin Bieber.

This single was a hit and will always be a hit! The vibes, the tone of voice, it all flows together

nicely.

“I don’t want another

pretty face

I don’t want

just anyone to hold

I don’t want

my love to go to waste

I want you

and

your beautiful soul.”

September Song: JP Cooper

Another one of my Fall favorites is September Song by JP Cooper! Not to mention the title of

the song is word-for-word. The music itself creates such a happy, comfy vibe talking about

young love in September.

You were my September song,

summer lasted too long

Time moves so slowly

when you’re only fifteen.”

Bury a Friend: Billie Elish

Here is a spooky, chill vibe for October! Billie Elish is always so creative and spot on. Her style

of writing her music makes everything come out so calming. What I love about her is her voice.

She can be singing anything, and she uses her tone to create a vibe within her music! This

verse is just so calm yet so spooky at the same time.

What do you want from me?

Why don’t you run from me?

What are you wondering?

What do you know?

Why aren’t you scared of me?

Why do you care for me?

When we all fall asleep, where do we go?”

Little Dark Age: MGMT

MGMT is one of my favorite bands. They sing many great hits, but this particular song gives off

that haunted feeling.

oh,

 forgiving who you are,

for what you stand

 to gain

Just know that

 if you hide,

it doesn’t go away

When you

get out of bed,

don’t end up stranded

Horrified with each stone on the stage,

my little dark age.”

Sunday Morning: Maroon 5

This is one of my favorite songs! I love Maroon 5. I think they make great music,

especially this one hit. This song gives off this soothing tone. The beat, the lyrics, everything

about this song hits all those feelings.

Sunday morning, rain is falling.”

This is the first lyric in the song, and this is where it all hits!

Calling All The Monsters: China Anne Mcclain

If you’ve watched Disney Channel from the 2009 era, you know this iconic song that

came on all the time during those commercial breaks. This song will always be a bop, no matter

what age you are. Let us not forget her iconic lyrics, such as the one below.

Tonight, all the monsters going to dance

We’re comin’ to get you!

Tonight all the monsters going to dance

We’re comin’ to get you!

If you’re only dreaming

Why do I hear you screaming?

Tonight all the monsters going to dance

We’re comin’ to get you!

We’re comin’ to get you!”

I suggest listening to these if you want to feel the Fall vibes! Do not worry this is just a few of

many songs you can add to that perfect Fall playlist.
