Taylor Swift Announces New Album Called “Midnights” which is set to release on October 21

On August 28th, songwriter/singer Taylor Swift won Video of the Year award at the 2022 Video Music Award for All Too Well “the short film” which stars both actress and actor Sadie Sink and Dylan O’ Brien.  She had also won several other awards such as Best Long-form Video and Best Direction for “All Too Well” the 10-minute version which is on her latest album Red (Taylor’s Version)

When they announced Taylor Swift that she won “Video of the Year” she made her way towards the stage and accepted the award. Swift, on stage while she accepted her award, thanked her fans and was appreciative for all the love and support that her fans have shown her through her journey. While she was thanking her fans throughout the journey, she made a surprise announcement that she has a new album at midnight.

Before midnight to hit Taylor Swift changed her bio on all of her social media that said, “meet me at midnight.” Fans had stayed up across the country for this surprise album announcement. Many speculate that it was one of the re-recordings of Taylor’s Version since Swift had released Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

Once the clock struck 12 o’clock Taylor Swift dropped the news a whole brand-new album called “Midnights” is releasing on October 21 and fans can go ahead and pre-order the new album online. While fans were trying to get on to pre-order the website did crash for a few hours.

Many were shocked and happy about the news of Taylor Swift’s announcement. We wonder what Taylor Swift has next up her sleeve. I, myself, am so excited about this news and adore Taylor Swift so much. As a fan of Taylor Swift, I can’t wait to see what else Taylor has in store for us swifties.
