Stressed, Blessed, and Pumpkin Obsessed

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lynn chapter.

It’s that time of year again where the air starts to get a little chillier and pumpkin spice is everywhere! Here are some fun fall festivities to get done before the holiday’s :)

Go to a pumpkin patch or apple orchard.

This is a sure way to get yourself in a holiday mood. Throw on a light jacket and make your way over to Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market. After finding the perfect pumpkin or bushel of apples, a perfect way to end the evening is by going on a tractor ride. http://www.bedners.com/

Hayrides and corn mazes

Nothing screams fall more than going on a hay ride or venturing through a corn maze. Bonus points if you show up in a flannel and jeans! Afterwards make sure to reward yourself with some warm cinnamon apple cider and watch the sunset.

Bonfires

Grab your friends and make some smores while laying on a blanket watching the stars. This is a great way to unwind after a stressful weekend. Have everyone bring snacks and have some music playing in the background. There’s nothing more relaxing than the sound of a crackling fire and a perfectly melted marshmallow. If you’re feeling especially cozy, have everyone show up in pajamas or hoodies for a chill ambiance.

Friendsgiving

Are you looking for a reason to get dressed up? Look no more! Host a friendsgiving and have everyone bring their own dish. You can have everyone paint or decorate a pumpkin to get them in a festive spirit. Light some pumpkin spice candles and bake some goodies to set a cheerful, homey mood. This is a fun way to end the semester before everyone goes back home for break.

Here is a list of curated fall captions to use after participating in the fall festivities!
