Wow, I can’t believe my first year of college is almost over. It feels like just yesterday I moved into my dorm and met my roommate. It seems like the school year just started but here we are almost at the end. As much as I love college, I miss my friends and family back home and I can’t wait to see them again. So here are my plans for the summer break!
Concerts
I am lucky enough to be going to not only one concert over the summer, but two! I will be seeing Justin Bieber on his Justice Tour, and Big Time Rush on their Forever Tour. I am so beyond excited to see both of these! Some advice I’d give to concert goers is to have your outfits planned ahead of time. I have been thinking of what I wanted to wear to both of these for a while now and I just ordered everything. It is very fun to pick out these outfits and it makes you even more excited to go. It is also good to plan ahead so you can get those nice Instagram pictures! I would also make sure to read the bag policy for each venue because each one is different. Some venues you are only allowed to bring a certain sized bag, or even a clear bag. So make sure to find that out ahead of time and plan it for your outfit! The last thing I would do is make sure to figure out how you are getting there and home. This can be one of the most stressful parts because no one wants to worry about how they are getting home after a fun concert. If you are driving there, make sure to see where you can park your car and if you will be charged for it so you know ahead of time and are prepared.
Vacation
I am also going on a vacation this year! I am going to Hershey, Pennsylvania. I am going with my friends who I haven’t seen in months. We will be going to Hershey Park and Hershey’s Chocolate World. There are so many things to do there like go on the rides, play games, and shop! Also the town around the park is really fun and has lots of things to do. I would recommend for anyone who hasn’t been there before to go at least once. It’s always a good time! Hanging Out With Friends & Working
Sadly, my summer cannot just consist of all fun stuff. I will be getting a job this summer because the phrase “broke college student” is not just a phrase like I thought. But I am honestly excited to get a job. It will be a new experience where I will meet new people and learn new things. Then when I am not working I will be catching up with my friends and family!
This summer will be very exciting and busy. I haven’t seen my friends and family in a long time and I can’t wait to catch up with them!
