Living at the beach is very fun. You can basically go any day you want but one day I remember going to the beach with my whole family in Ocean City, Nj

I think I was 4 or 5. We woke up early and packed up the car with a cooler, beach chairs, and towels. We drove around in circles searching for a parking spot until we found one, then we had to search for a spot to put our stuff. We put on sunscreen and then ran into the ocean to cool off since it was very hot that day. I would stay in the water for a long time until it was time for lunch. Sometimes we would buy food from the boardwalk since there are many places to eat there, but this time we brought our own food, so some of us sat in the beach chairs or on a towel.

After lunch we took a walk on the beach and looked for cool shells that I took home and made jewelry out of some of them and painted others, and just kept the rest of them in a clear jar. After a couple of hours I was tired so we decided it was time to leave and go home, so we packed up all our stuff and put it all in the car. I was a little sunburnt but after having a fun day it was good.

I love going to dinner and feeling warm from the sun. Sometimes  I like that better than going to the beach. The beach day doesn’t end once we leave the beach, I still have the memories from the good day and the sun kissed skin feels good and it’s still warm at night. I love that feeling since it’s  still warm but there’s not a sun beating down. After the beach we went out to a place that was outside and on the water so it was like still being at the beach on the beach day.
