IÂ know during my freshman year I overpacked and that did not make living out of a dorm dresser any easier. –Double Sided Tape
My mission when I moved into the dorm was to make my side of the room feel homey. I accomplished this with fake flowers, fairy lights, and pictures. I have tried command strips and normal tape, but they never seem to keep stuff on the wall. I will never forget last year where one of my pictures fell off at 3:00 am and scared not only myself and my roommate. Lesson learned; use double sided tape! It doesn’t leave marks on the wall, and it will keep decorations on the wall.
–Towel Wrap
If you use a communal bathroom then this towel wrap is for you! This stays up and allows you to carry the shower cady without having to worry about a towel slipping. Also, this comes in handy when you are drying your hair. I know I hate getting my top wet while I wait for my hair to dry so this allows you to avoid that.
–Digital Projection Alarm Clock
I will admit that once I bought this alarm clock, I will never go back to a normal one. You might be thinking, why bother when you could just use the alarm on your phone. Easy answer: this clock projects the time onto the ceiling! I cannot tell you the number of times I have woken up in the middle of the night wanting to know the time but not willing to move out from under my blankets. This is a game changer!
–Electrical Outlet Extender
Let’s be real we all know the struggle of finding an electrical outlet in the dorm and once you find one it is like discovering gold. With the number of chargers that we need to plug into the wall there is simply no space. That is where this outlet extender comes in handy.Â
