This week’s Campus Cutie is a ray of sunshine to our days. Not only is Brandon super smart (an electrical AND computer engineering major!) and funny, he’s also one of the nicest, friendliest guys on campus. Brandon may be taken by his handsome bf (whom we also know and love), but he’s always down to talk and have a good time. Check out his interview below!

Major: Electrical and computer engineering

Hometown: Born in Spokane, WA; went to high school in Portland, OR.

Relationship Status: Sorry ladies, I’m taken… by my tall, dark, and handsome boyfriend!

Celebrity Crush: Emily VanCamp. In Revenge, she is so calculative and efficient with her schemes, I love it.

Favorite MovieEasy A by far. Not only does it have great one liners, of which I find more the more I watch, but its got Amanda Bynes at the tail end of her actual career.

Favorite Food: Salmon, all the way. Salmon on wood planks, smoked salmon, braised salmon, salmon in mac and cheese – salmon, salmon, freaking salmon!

What qualities do you look for when dating/in a relationship? Goofiness and the ability to laugh at yourself are important traits to me, as are dependability and consistency. They’re all key to a good relationship in my book!

What is your favorite date you have been on? Dinner at 21 Beach and belting out “Take Me Home Tonight” by Eddie Money on the ride back (obviously with great pitch….not.)

What is an ideal date you want to go on? I’m usually pretty excited regardless of the activity, but if I had to say an ideal, it would probably involve a plane, mountains, and salmon. Did I mention how much I love salmon? I love salmon.

Biggest turn-on? Smile and look me in the eyes when we talk, that gets me every time.

Biggest turn-off? Basic people. Oh and peeing with the door open. No.

Fun Fact About Yourself: Though you might not guess it, I grew up doing tons of stuff outside: horse trails, hiking, camping, hunting, etc. They all come naturally to me and help me feel balanced. Living in LA now, I sometimes feel the need to escape or explore; I go for random trips whenever I can. Right now I’m planning a trip to the desert to go camp and see stars. The more the merrier, so hit me up if you’re down to join!
