Stepping onto the court this upcoming season is one of the newest member of the LMU men’s basketball team, junior forward, Adom Jacko. Adom, (pronounced autumn – like the season), is a twenty-one year old transfer sociology major ready to take LMU to the championships.
What are you most looking forward to about this year’s basketball season? I’m looking forward to turning this program into a winning team. Winning conference and making a run to the NCAA tournament.
When did you start playing basketball and what’s your favorite memory? I started playing competitively when I was about 5 or 6 years old. My favorite memory is playing against our point guard Matt 2 years ago in junior college in the final four. We lost, but it was just cool playing against my future point guard.
What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not playing basketball? I usually play video games, watch ESPN or YouTube old Laker games.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I’m working towards playing in the NBA.
Catch Adom and the rest of the LMU men’s basketball team take the court this season at their first home game November 8th in Gersten Pavillion!
