Varnish Nail Lab
This nail salon was the first one I tried out since moving to campus and has become my regular manicure spot. They offer a wide array of services from acrylics to gel nails and they can even do nail art! The salon itself is super close to campus and is located in the same shopping center as Whole Foods! They are so well staffed and even if you don’t have an appointment you usually aren’t waiting too long!
Bellagio Nails
Another great option super close to campus! Their location in Marina Del Rey is super clean and you are always bound to have a great service. I know so many different girls that get everything from acrylic nails with designs to just a simple pedicure and everyone seems to leave happy and in love with their fresh manicures!
Color Camp
Though this isn’t super close to campus, I had to include this one because upon my recent visit, I have fallen in love with this nail salon. Its located right by the Grove and just opened up about four months ago. Only offering manicures to make sure hygenine levels are up to par, this nail salon is amazing. They have a menu of all the nail colors available and can either get nail polish, gel polish, or super gel which is supposed to allow the nails to grow longer and stay strong without breaking. They give you complimentary La Croix which is already a win in itself and i left the salon with my favorite manicure that I have ever had. Their attention to detail is amazing and I am most definitley treating myself to another manicure there again soon. The only downside is the more expensive prices, they make up for the steep price with their quality and attention to detail.
Nail Tec
This nail salon is newly renovated and extremely clean. Though the workers seem to be new to the nail business the salon makes up for it with the ambiance and prices. Not too expensive and you are sure to have a cleanly experience, this salon is another great option in our area!
